The class will be taught on Amara 20" longarm machine (6 machines in the classroom, 2 people per machine).
A special hands-on class for the very beginners! Learn the basics of free-motion on the longarm. You will feel much more confident and inspired to develop new skills after Julia's lecture and hands-on experience.
You will learn:
- Basic skills for successful quilting
- Simple shapes that will build your skill base (a peek into bubbles, feathers, etc.)
- Controlling shape, size, and uniformity of the elements
- Movement and connection of the elements
- What to quilt and how to choose the right pattern for any quilt
